Game
safaris form an integral part of any tourist trip to Africa. The Big
Five is on most agendas and there are a number of ways to accomplish
this, depending on the time and budget available.
The
number of game areas offering Big Five in KZN is growing, and hence
the options for the tourist are becoming wider and wider. Accommodations
range from boutique safari to more rustic entry level operations that
are more accessible to clients on a more restricted budget.
Apart from Big Five safaris, there is a big demand for walking and
bird watching safaris. Many wildlife areas cater for these by the
fact that their game populations do not include the big predators,
this making non vehicle safaris much safer and more relaxed.
Mkhulu Adventures caters for a range of safari types, fitting in with
the requirements of the client.

Kwa
Zulu Natal is famous world wide for its preservation of the Black
Rhino, and this animal, along with the White Rhino, is now fairly
common in the game areas of the province, and a visit to KZN Wildlife's
parks will produce a decent sighting of at least one of these.
It is difficult to describe the excitement of being on a safari, the
sunrise and the smell of the African bush, the anticipation of the
first sighting and the eerie call of hyena across the veld are all
things that add to the "African Experience".
